Megraj is 10. He lives with his mum, his sister Shivamma and his grandparents. His dad died a long time ago, but he still remembers him.

Megraj has come top of his class every year since he started school and is class monitor. Although he’s pretty good at everything, his favourite subjects are maths and IT. When he’s not studying he likes to play Kabadi, which is like tag, but you have to hold your breath!

His mum wants him to be an accountant when he’s older, but he’s already decided that he’d like to work in Christian Aid’s Delhi office – unless, of course, people have got together to end poverty before that!
