On 2 May, a massive cyclone struck Burma, a country in South East Asia. Thousands of people died and many survivors were left without food, clean water and shelter.
Christian Aid has been able to raise nearly two million pounds to help people in Burma. Although the Burmese government has made it more difficult to get aid to the people who need it, our partners have still been able to reach more than 200,000 people.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped to raise money or who made a donation.

People need basic things like food, medicine, and tablets to make water safe to drink More money is still needed to help fishermen get back to work and to rebuild houses and schools, so please donate if you can, and tell your friends. Ask a teacher or parent/guardian if you can raise money, perhaps as a class. We'll send you a great Global Gang certificate showing how much you raised!
