Jeff is only six years old, but he’s lost his dad, brother and sister to storms. Haiti, a country in the Caribbean, was hit by four huge storms in less than four weeks this summer, killing hundreds and leaving a million people homeless.
Now Jeff has only his mum and baby sister left. His sister is very sick with diarrhoea, which is caused by dirty water.
The family fled their home, which was under six feet of water. They are now living in a shelter. Because of the storms the schools are closed so Jeff won’t be able to go back to school until they re-open.

Jeff with his mum and baby sister Christian Aid partners have been giving children like Jeff notebooks and pencils. This means they can still study, even though they've lost all their belongings. Money is also being given to help pay school fees.
If you would like to help children like Jeff, why not ask your parents or teacher if you can raise some money? Check out our fundraising ideas.
