How do you spend school holidays?
Ella, 8, and Sam, 11, go to a Holiday Club in Leeds, run by Janey’s Web. This Easter it's all about Global Gang!

From left to right: Sam, R42, Ella Lots to make and do!
'We have made sack gardens, like they have in African countries,' says Sam. 'They are made out of sacks, soil, stones and seeds. They make them like that in Africa because they don't have much space or water. I thought it was a really clever way to make a garden.'
'We also made musical instruments out of rubbish,' says Ella. 'I made mine out of a cardboard box and a cardboard tube, elastic bands and I used sellotape.'
'I made mine out of a pizza box and elastic bands,' adds Sam. 'It shows what you can do when you recycle.'

'My favourite was when we learnt about unfair trade laws,' Ella says. 'We had to eat chocolate cookies hanging from a rope and not use our hands. This seemed unfair and was a bit messy!'
'But many people around the world can't get a fair price for their cocoa beans, and some children who farm cocoa beans have never even tasted chocolate!'

Tell off the grown ups!
'Most adults say that children don't care about poverty,' Sam says. 'I want to tell them off and say that most children do!'
'I do care about things like climate change and I promise to get out there and tell the adults that we are polluting, and when we grow up it is going to be a mess, so they should stop!'
